Made a smaller version of the tin can candle holder to sit on the table on the porch.  This one I made out of a mushroom can. Since it sits on the table, I didn't punch any holes in it but you can.  Get creative, let the kids help and have fun!
Tin Can Candle Holder
Another great idea for recycling.  Use those tin cans for candle holders.  I didn't have anywhere to hang it on my porch so I hung it, just for the pic, on my husbands vegie garden.  A fun project also for kids on the painting part.
Here's an idea I didn't think of before.  Using those dollar store baskets to help organize your fridge. I've always used recycled plastic bottles for my husbands tea I make him for his lunch and he's always drinking lots of water. But you know how sometimes those bottles keep falling down and moving
I saw this and just had to try it.  I spent .25 cents a piece for the cup and saucer, a little hot glue and

Weaved Rag Rug

Making a rag rug. Using different materials because there's always different people coming over. I'm making 5-7 panels, then I'll sew them together from the back. A really fun conversational piece. So save those clothers you were going to throw out and start cutting your strips. I used yarn, sheets,
How to tie stripes of material together without knotting it.
Learned this one on utube. When weaving, you want to make sure you have enough "continous" material tied together.  However, if you knot it, the ends will stick out so here's how you put them together without tieing them in a knot.

Picture Frame Loom
My very first try at weaving. I used what I had at home so I didn't have to buy anything. I used an old picture frame and I had some left over yarn.  Didn't have a hook so just used my fingers.  The next one

Dream catcher I made out of a coat hanger.  I think I'll spray the handle brown and then hang it up at our camp site.
I seen this on pinterest and I thought I'd try this.  Chop up crayons, put them in a tin or other baking pan creations. Bake at 200 for about 10-15 minutes.  Take out of oven, let cool for about 20min.  You

Dog Lovers Plaque
I velcroved the back of it and it's going on our camper at our camp site.  You can hot glue a magnet or any other type of hanging device and wala, your very own personalized unique plaque.  You can even put your dogs name on them.  I just put dog lovers on it because I already have enough stuff with their names on them.

I molded the back piece first, then the shoes.  I then rolled out clay and made the ribbons.  Baked as per the clay instructions, let cool and then painted.  Last I clear coated spay and glued a magnet on the back as a fridge magnet.  Get creative!
Clay Jewlery Bowl
Make it simple, make it something you can use.  A clay baked jewlery bowl to hold those most used items you are always looking for.  Or paint it differently and use it at work for a paper clip holder.  Use your imagination and go wild.
Here's a really fun idea you can even have your kids do.  Have them paint a clothes pin, any color they want.  Glue on some google eyes.  Even write their name on them.  Glue a magnet on the back and they become their very own fridge magnet.  They can clip on their school art, assignments, things they colored in a book, etc..  Simple, fun and inexpensive.

How to make a clay flower.
How to make a flower out of polymer clay.
I hand molded these 4 pieces separately.  Then I attached them before baking with exception of the baseball.  Once baked and cooled I then hand painted them and glued the ball into the glove.  Last, I spray laquered them for a nice shine and making it easy to clean. I did not laquer where the magnet was to be glued.  I put a piece of tape there and pulled it off once sprayed so the magnet would stick right to the clay.  I then attached the magnet on the  back by hot gluing it on.  A great little fridge magnet gift idea for the baseball lovers.
Baby Shower Clay Gift Ideas

Hand molded and painted polymer clay baby shower gift idea.
I really enjoy doing crafts.  I look for ideas and change them into something different.  I like to take a couple different ideas and combine them to make something creative of my very own.  At times it is trial and error.  I mostly enjoy clay and craft sticks but also do many other crafts.

I will be sharing my ideas and hope you enjoy trying them yourself.  Maybe even taking them, changing them around, and as I do, making the idea your own with your own special unique twist on them.
