I seen this on pinterest and I thought I'd try this.  Chop up crayons, put them in a tin or other baking pan creations. Bake at 200 for about 10-15 minutes.  Take out of oven, let cool for about 20min.  You
can also put in a candel holder like glass, put your wick in it and bake and make candles.  So save those pieces of crayons your kids seem to accumulate. Get creative in what you will make with "your" crayons.  Let your kids help and have a fun day creating.
