Here's a great idea to save on all those glasses and cups with your kids wanting something to drink every hour when it's hot outside.  Save those water bottles and reuse them.  Put coolaid in them and put in a basket in the fridge.  Great for picnics or beach time, and you don't have to bring them back to wash them.  Unless of course, you want to reuse them again.

You can even make so many up for one child and so many for the other.  Take a marker and write their name on them and put them in separate baskets in the fridge.  Once they're gone for the day, that's it.  Quit having to wash cups and glasses all day long because no one wants to reuse the same glass.

I decided I'd clean my kitchen with house hold products today.  I used baking soda, dawn dish soap and white vinegar in a bucket of warm water.  I started off with wiping down my counters and moved to the floor.  The baking soda and vinegar have a reaction that bubbles away grim.  On the tough spots leave it sit for a few moments.  Even my floor came out cleaner by soaking it with these products in warm water and then using clear water to mop it up and dry.  There isn't even any odors now and it's fresh and clean.

Whenever you buy anything that has a zip lock bag over it, keep it.  You can store a lot of things in those bags.  Books, albums, kids stuff, pet to go bag.....it's endless depending on the size of the zip bag.  So before throwing away the packaging whenever you open something, think about it first.
While trying out some cleaning ideas, I had a bowl of warm water and dish soap already prepared that I had wiped off some things with baking soda and peroxide.  I figured, why waste the water, I just added a little more baking soda in the water and took a scrubby and wiped off some knives that had a touch of rust on them.  Sometimes it takes some scrubbing to get them clean but I barely rubbed and it all came off.  I'm not sure how it would fare to your really expensive sets but your every day ware it did wonders.  Just a bowl of warm water with some peroxide, baking soda and dish soap.  I guess you can say I got several uses out of that one bowl of water.  White vinegar is a great substitute also for the peroxide, but I just happened to be out today.

Cleaning your stove glasstop with baking soda and warm water and soap.  I seen this on pinterest and thought I'd try it.  Just sprinkle baking soda on the stove top. Have a bowl of warm water and dish soap ready.  Place a towel in the soap water and squeeze just enough to be soppy but not all the way rung out.  Lay on top for 20 minutes.  Take the towel and wipe around the entire stove top, no muscle needed, just scrub gently.  If you see a spot that didn't come up all  the way, sprinkle a little more baking soda on that one spot and use the same towel to scrub gently.  Wife off and spray with windex or other glass cleaner and wala.  If you've let your stove go way far beyond, you may need to repeat and then a couple times a week should do it.  Very inexpensive.
